'House of Cards' Drops New Trailer With Eerie Claire Underwood Monologue
“We’re going to need to watch out for each other, and yes, watch each other.”

House of Cards unveiled via a tweet the new trailer for season 5 which features a Claire Underwood monologue. The eerie minute-long speech harkens back to the ending of season 4 where both Frank and Claire decided that they would move forward with fear tactics for the duo’s presidential and vice presidential campaigns. Claire opens her monologue by saying, “I’ve been meaning to talk with you, it’s terrifying isn’t it?” and ends with “We’re going to need to watch out for each other, and yes, watch each other. To keep us all safe and sound, tell us what you see.” Whether or not the pair succeed remains to be seen.
