'GRIND' Magazine to Open Sneaker Art Exhibit
KICKS MUSEUM will feature Japanese sneaker designs and limited edition items for sale.
Japanese men’s fashion magazine GRIND will be opening a pop-up museum called KICKS MUSEUM in Daikanyama, Tokyo on May 10-14. The museum will feature a wide variety of original sneaker models designed by Japanese artists Daisuke Arasaki, Inozuka Keita, Yohei Usami, Lambda Takahashi, Takayuki Tanaka, Masataka Hattori and Ryuta Yamada. In addition to this, the five-day exhibit will also have a variety of limited edition merchandise from Japanese designer AKEEM THE DREAM and special shoe cleaning services from Jason Markk. KICKS MUSEUM has become a tradition in Tokyo, with street fashion magazine Ollie running the show last year.
KICKS MUSEUM will take place at the Daikantama T-Site Gallery and is free of charge for the entire five days.
