Italian sportswear brand ellesse‘s dropped its Heritage Summer 2017 menswear collection, which features cool tones inspired by Mediterranean beaches, rocky shorelines and the ocean, reminiscent of a summer holiday. The Rimini is a nostalgic remake of one of ellesse’s Adriatic Sea-inspired track tops. Beach Club takes notes from the tide with gradient fade tees, color-pop vest tops and ocean marl fabric. Oceana features pieces constructed from lightweight, loop-back fleece in pastel tones. San Siro is synonymous with Ellesse retro sporting foundations, found in the tonal vertical lines of the Vasto top, Elba tank, and Anzio short. Key outerwear pieces such as the Forno track top and Continental zip jacket are a nod to the ’90s as are details like bright primary hues, logo taping and zip-up funnel neck design. And finally, the Sport collection has a fresh take on sportswear that plays with mesh and jersey paneling in optic white and anthracite tones with splashes of imperial blue.
