Thor and Hulk Reunite in First Preview of 'Thor: Ragnarok'
He also gets a haircut and loses Mjolnir.
After official photos from the set of Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok were seen about a month ago, we now get an official teaser trailer. Set in a time frame after Avengers: Age of Ultron, we are immediately thrust into a scene where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) narrates how he got chained above a volcanic backdrop. Starting off with newcomer Hela played by Cate Blanchett stopping his iconic hammer Mjolnir mid-air and destroying it, the trailer then transitions into the destruction of Asgard. Thor gets kidnapped and has his hair cut off and comedically reunites with Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the most unlikely of places, inside a galactic arena. Finally, we are introduced to newcomers Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Jaimie Alexander (Sif) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and also see familiar faces Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Idris Elba (Heimdall) make appearances.
Set to hit theaters November 3, we’ll see if short-haired Thor can save the universe while fighting his friend Bruce Banner.
