STAMPD and IKEA Announce Collaborative Home Design Project
Bringing streetwear into your home.
American streetwear designer Chris Stamp‘s STAMPD is teaming up with Swedish home design brand IKEA for a collaborative project that will strive to create a place to store and showcase an individual’s streetwear wardrobe at home.
“The idea behind the collection for IKEA is to reimagine how the younger, aesthetic, conscience, consumer is organizing their wardrobe and accessories at home. I want them to be able to take pride in how they display their clothing and footwear, allowing them to appreciate their pieces just as much when they’re not being worn,” commented Chris Stamp.
STAMPD is known for its clean, minimal and monochrome aesthetic, which marries well with IKEA’s Scandinavian design style. The collaboration was announced during the Milan Design Fair and is slated to hit IKEA stores in Spring 2018.
