Nintendo Introduces the New 2DS XL Console
A new mobile gaming experience.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Nintendo has just announced another gaming console, the new 2DS XL. As the name suggests, the console takes cues from the Nintendo 3DS with a C-stick, Amiibo-compatible NFC reader and extra processing power, while removing the display’s 3D functionality. The Nintendo 2DS XL will go on sale on July 28 for a retail price of $150 USD. However, those living in Japan can expect the console to hit the shelves on July 13 for ¥14,980 JPY (approximately $135 USD). Check out the trailer above for more details.
