Architect David Adjaye Designs a Wireless Concrete Speaker for Master & Dynamic
“The new geometry of sound.”

Known for its stylish, collaborative headphones with the likes of The Rolling Stones, colette, and UNITED ARROWS & SONS, New York’s Master & Dynamic has teamed up with architect David Adjaye for a gorgeous wireless speaker. This isn’t just any wireless speaker, though. Dubbed the MA770, the sleek sculptural design employs seamless sealed concrete construction for “increased dampening, reduced resonance, and a purer sound.” In fact, according to Master & Dynamic, “the dampening properties are so high that the speaker can play at full volume without causing a record to skip or the table and floor to vibrate.” As far as tech specs go, dual 4” woven Kevlar long throw woofers are coupled with a 1.5” titanium tweeter, diamond-cut anodized aluminum controls, and 100 Watts of Class D amplification. The MA770 even features built-in Chromecast so it can be used as the anchor of a multi-room setup.
The MA770 is available to pre-order online now for $1,800 USD.
