With summer just around the corner, the folks over at Buzzfeed recently set out to find out, once and for all, just how good ice cream can get and if it’s worth a hefty price. Testing scoops from three different price ranges, the crew had soft serve from a Los Angeles institution, a modern gourmet establishment and a $1,000 USD ice cream sundae. Although the edible gold foil-and-caviar on the expensive sundae are eye-catching, the crew come to the consensus that the lower price point locations they visited come out on top in terms of taste and value.
