The First Trailer for Netflix's 'Dear White People' Is Here
The controversial series is set to debut later this month.
As we reported last year, Netflix is set to bring Justin Simien’s 2014 film Dear White People to the world of television with a new original series based on the movie. With the show’s release date scheduled for Friday, April 28, Netflix has launched the lead trailer for its new series. Staying true to the original, Justin Simien will serve as the new program’s primary writer and will stand in as the director for the first episode of Dear White People. Logan Browing, Brandon P. Bell, Marque Richardson, Antoinette Robertson and Ashley Blaine Featherson will all star in the series, which is currently set for a 10-episode run.
