The Weeknd x H&M "Spring Icons" Editorial Reveals Sweatshirts, Bombers and Coats
Neon lights and a whole lot of XO.
Following other chart-topping artists like Kanye West and Justin Bieber, The Weeknd is the latest musician to move beyond concert merch and create a full range to be sold in pop-ups and mainstream retailers. Earlier this week we saw the artist himself modeling his “Spring Icons,” and now we have a closer look at the line.
Photographed by HYPEBEAST in the late-night neon glow of the city, the editorial for The Weeknd x H&M “Spring Icons” channels the dark moods of the artist’s music while moving through the styles in the line. Fans of the The Weeknd will recognize his XO logo emblazoned across black, white and beige essentials, but the collaborative collection also introduces button-ups and biker jackets, with more subtle logos that would work for even casual listeners. The remainder of the items are a curated selection of The Weeknd’s personal spring wardrobe picks from the H&M collection, all of which will launch along side the XO branded gear.
