The Switch Is Nintendo's Fastest-Selling Console

In a recent interview, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime revealed that the initial weekend sales of the Switch console have surpassed the first two-day sales for any system “in Nintendo history.” Which maybe why you have been having a hard time finding a Nintendo Switch console at retailers despite a non-holiday release. Additionally, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has become Nintendo’s best-selling launch title of all time beating out Super Mario 64. It’s too early to tell exactly how Nintendo’s Switch console will do overall, but initial signs point to another runaway success for the company.
