81-Year-Old Runway Star Wang Deshun Is Reebok's Latest Brand Ambassador
The Octogenarian will spearhead the company’s Chinese efforts.
The runway-rocking senior citizen known as “China’s hottest grandpa” has been selected as the new brand ambassador for Reebok‘s Chinese endeavors. Eighty-one-year-old star Wang Deshun first received the attention of the global media circuit after serving as one of the main draws of Beijing Fashion Week 2015, choosing to become a runway model in his late ’70s. Now an octogenarian, Deshun is now at the forefront of Reebok’s push to become the “best fitness brand” in China. “With running in particular experiencing an unprecedented surge in popularity in China in recent years, the category will be a key focus for Reebok in 2017 as it leverages proprietary, cutting-edge technology such as FloatRide to help runners perform at their very best,” reads an official statement from Reebok.
