Say what you want about Destiny, but Bungie’s shooter — though it may not be the developer’s Halo offerings — is undoubtedly one of the biggest video games of all time: it raked in over $500 million USD on its 2014 launch day and has sold countless copies since thanks to a bevy of expansions. Given those numbers, a sequel was inevitable and now, after confirming its existence earlier this week, Bungie has released the very first look at the game. Dubbed “Last Call,” the brief teaser trailer stars actor Nathan Fillion’s wisecracking Cayde-6 as he enjoys one last drink while the Last City burns to the ground.
Destiny 2 is expected to launch this September while a full trailer for the game is set to premiere at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 30.
