Watch Off-White™'s Ethereal 2017 Fall/Winter Women's Runway Show
Virgil Abloh flexes for the fairer sex.
Virgil Abloh‘s OFF-WHITE may be better known for its men’s streetwear-bent fashion line, but the designer proved to be equally convincing with his women’s designs. Titled “Nothing New,” OFF-WHITE’s Fall/Winter 2017 women’s runway mirrored the men’s show with its ethereal forest setting and leaf-lined catwalk. The clothes, however, proved to be more streamlined and low-key than its men’s counterparts. Toning down its usual graphic-heavy designs, this collection featured polished silhouettes with contrasting proportions, delicate laces, and silk married with rugged denim and structured crop jackets, as well as oversized sequins, plush velvets and Swarovski-encrusted fabrics to add to the spectacle. OFF-WHITE‘s penchant for bold graphics made a brief but powerful appearance via a pair of “FOR WALKING” boots. Watch the star-studded event above and share your thoughts in the comments below.
