Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Casting JonBenet, a documentary series that revisits the grisly murder of 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey, whose unsolved murder case captivated the United States back in 1996. According to Netflix, the series will focus on director Kitty Green’s efforts to “audition local actors, unpacking how each remembers and relates to the ill-fated Ramsey family.” Boasting a cast of real actors and utilizing real audition tapes, the series will investigate the open murder case’s impact on a community 20 years down the line.
