Spoof Nike Ads Put an Artistic Twist on Consumerism
Produced with full permission from the sportswear giant.

Artists Ava Nirui and Alex Lee have teamed up to produce a series of artworks parodying Nike advertisements that are set to go on display in New York. The duo have reworked some of the brand’s best-known silhouettes including the Air Max 95 and 97 with a series of playful, tactile and sometimes macabre twists. The collection continues Nirui’s previous explorations of the intersection between fashion and society and this latest work — produced with full permission from Nike — mimics the sportswear giant’s instantly recognizable advertising style.
