The Kickstarter campaign to bring back the cult favorite program Mystery Science Theater 3000 went down as one of the most-well-funded Kickstarters in the website’s history, generating over $5.7 million USD in donations. Originally aired on Comedy Central and The Sci-Fi Channel, the first incarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000 was guided by creator and initial host Joel Hodgson and yielded two Emmy Award nominations. Set to debut on April 14, the new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix and will star Jonah Ray, Patton Oswalt and Felicia Day.

To support the second life of MST 3000, Netflix has revealed the lead trailer in support of the series. You can check out Netflix’s very first Mystery Science Theater 3000 teaser above, and tune in on April 14 to check out the show’s new season.
