LVMH Announces the Finalists for Its 2017 Prize for Aspiring Young Designers
Ones to watch.
After announcing the short list for its 2017 Prize for Aspiring Young Designers, LVMH recently revealed the eight emerging designer finalists for its annual prize. This year, five out of eight LVMH finalists design womenswear. The international cohort includes the likes of Yoon of AMBUSH, Japanese designer Kozaburo Akasaka and British designer Nabil el-Nayal of Nabil Nayal who returns to the annual lineup after being shortlisted in 2015. The eight finalist will meet the prize jury at the Fondation Louis Vuitton on June 16 with a winner chosen that evening.
Additionally, LVMH recently announced its plans to open its own e-commerce site that will house all 70 of its labels and more.
