Lana Del Rey Announces New Album 'Lust for Life'
Expect the LP to drop soon.
Earlier this week, news surfaced regarding a forthcoming collaboration from The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey. Now, on the heels of last month’s video for “Love,” Del Rey has announced a new album. The followup to 2015’s Honeymoon will be called Lust for Life, and the project’s release date is said to be in the near future. “Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there’s no place I’d rather be than smack-dab in the middle of ‘Holly-weird’ making this record for you. Because you, and the music, and this place, are my love, my life, my lust for life,” Lana Del Rey explains in the LP’s introductory teaser. Considering the Iggy Pop magnum opus of the same name, Del Rey has a lot to live up to.
