Gorillaz's "Saturnz Barz" Has Made YouTube History
With over 3 million views within 48 hours.
After six years, animated band Gorillaz has definitely made a triumphant return to the music world, already dropping hit tracks “Saturnz Barz,” “Andromeda,” “Ascension” and “We’ve Got The Power.” The band’s highly-anticipated album Humanz will also feature the likes of Danny Brown, Pusha T, De La Soul, Popcaan, D.R.A.M. and Vince Staples to name a few.
Not only that, Gorillaz has now broken a YouTube record for the visuals of “Saturnz Barz,” which was made available in 360-degree virtual reality. According to Billboard, the six-minute video has hit more than 3 million views within the first 48 hours of being released. Check out the record breaking video above, which now has over 5 million views.
Also, just this past weekend, Gorillaz revealed the entire Humanz album via a concert in London. The full tracklist of the album was played out to the packed-out crowd, making for an unforgettable night for those in attendance.
