Drake Ties Kanye West & Eminem for Second-Most No. 1 Albums in Rap
Guess who has the most No. 1 rap albums?

Drake‘s More Life playlist debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week. The playlist is Drake’s seventh consecutive chart-topping album. According to Nielsen Music, More Life moved 505,000 album units opening week, with 226,000 in traditional album sales and 23,000 TEA units. A record 257,000 units were attributed to streaming equivalent album units — equivalent to 384.8 million streams of songs from More Life. Drake’s seventh No. 1 album ties with Eminem and Kanye West for the second-most No. 1s among rap acts, with only JAY Z ahead with 13 No. 1s. More Life also had the biggest opening week for any album since the Toronto rapper’s VIEWS, which debuted with 1.04 million units moved in May of 2016.
