High School Hoops Star LaMelo Ball Drops 92 Points in Single Game
Dedicated to his classmate who is in desperate need of a heart transplant.
The youngest of the three Ball brothers, LaMelo, balled out of his mind Tuesday night, dropping 92 points, 42 of which came in the fourth quarter. Following the end of their 60-game win streak at the hands of powerhouse Oak Hill Academy, Chino Hills and LaMelo edge out a 146-123 win over a much less-competitive Los Osos High School. The number one ranked player in his class went 37 for 61 from the field, with only 7 of those field goals being three-pointers. Oh, and he dished seven assists.
LaMelo dedicated this impressive game to Lexi Anderson, a classmate of his who after becoming dangerously ill earlier this month. You can donate here.
If you’re unfamiliar with the fam, the oldest Ball, Lonzo, is a standout freshmen guard at UCLA that’ll likely be a lottery pick in this year’s NBA draft. The middle brother, LiAngelo, is a senior at Chino Hills (he sat out Tuesday night due to an injury) and will follow in Lonzo’s footsteps next year by attending UCLA on a full basketball scholarship. They can ball.
