Lamborghini Has Issued a Recall on All 12 of Its Venenos
2012-2017 Aventadors and all variants have also been recalled.

All 12 Lamborghini Veneno‘s have just been recalled. The three coupes and nine roadsters fetching nearly $5 million USD price tags each, are all part of a massive fire risk recall which also include Aventadors and its variants produced between 2012-2017 by the Italian supercar manufacturer. Bloomberg reports that a total of 5,900 vechiles have been recalled including 1,453 in the United States.
In the report Lamborghini submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the company states that there’s an issue with the gas tank’s EVAP system, which prevents fuel tank vapors from escaping. Concerned that fuel may get into the EVAP system and produce flammable vapors which could potentially ignite, Lambo issued the recall. The NHTSA has stated that owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Lamborghini so that they can schedule a time to have the EVAP system fixed with a new purge valve free of charge at their local dealership.
