KITH x NAKED Introduce the adidas Consortium NMD CS2
A new laceless sneaker designed with a female-first approach.
Continuing along adidas Consortium’s Sneaker Exchange program announced earlier this year, KITH and NAKED have teamed up with the Three Stripes to reveal a new silhouette, the NMD CS2. Designing a “females first” runner, HYPEBAE sat down with KITH’s Ronnie Fieg, adidas’s Senior Director of Statement Collaborations Daniel Bauer and Senior Product Manager Jimmy Manley to learn more about the thought process behind the collaboration.
Eschewing the standard lacing system, the sock-like construction comes in both “Pink” or “Sandstone” colorways, inspired by the collision of powder paints. Breathable Primeknit dons the upper while an updated BOOST midsole with grooved stripes bolsters the entire shoe. Set to release exclusively KITH and NAKED March 3, the NMD CS2 will get a general release at No.42 Paris, No.74 Berlin and Consortium locations worldwide beginning March 11.
