Justin Bieber Teams up With "Pineapple Pen" Star for Japanese Ad
The start of a new bromance.
It was only late last year when Japanese singer and comedian Piko Taro took over the internet with his viral sensation “PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen),” which now has over 113 million views on YouTube alone. The video even had Canadian superstar Justin Bieber taking notice. In what could be the beginning of a new bromance, the pair have joined forces in Japan to work on a commercial for local carrier SoftBank. Though the final product has yet to be released, SoftBank has released a behind-the-scenes look at the forthcoming ad which can be viewed above.
