In the latest installment of his video series Stay Melo, Knicks’ superstar forward Carmelo Anthony visits high school soccer powerhouse Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Manhattan to talk sports and escapism. MLK High produces some of the country’s top soccer prospects, however it’s the schools welcoming heart towards immigrant students that often grabs the national spotlight. In this 13-minute video Melo offers some kind words of wisdom and inspiration for the young athletes, while looking at some of their tear-jerking childhoods before coming to MLK.
