Vivienne Westwood to Replace London Fashion Show With a Digital Presentation
“Buy less, choose well, make it last.”

A longtime champion for the environment, Vivienne Westwood is pushing her green agenda even further in 2018, announcing today that she will ditch her London fashion show entirely in favor of a digital presentation this upcoming January. Instead of hitting the runway, Westwood’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 collection will be presented directly to media and buyers via email, with both imagery and a short film set to be sent off at 2:00 p.m. GMT sharp.
“We’re looking forward to showing you our winter collection, which instead of a catwalk, we will present through the form of film and imagery, so you can get a good look at it and love it as much as we do. Buy less, choose well, make it last,” said Westwood.
As WWD points out, Westwood is just the latest designer to ditch London Fashion Week Men’s: earlier this year, Jonathan Anderson announced that he would showcase both his men’s and women’s J.W. Anderson lines at a single show in the English capital this upcoming February.
