BILLY'S Exclusive Vans Chukkas Are Made With Luxurious Velvet
A lavish take on an underrated silhouette.
Japanese sneaker retailer BILLY’S once again pairs up with Vans for an exclusive drop. After joining Rollicking for a velvet slip-on, the soft textile returns on a set of Vans chukkas.
Offered in black, purple, green and red, the array is nothing if not eye-catching. Although the bold colors and opulent fabric do make for a striking shoe, black laces and midsole balance the styling and prevent the shoe from becoming too garish. Normal Vans branding on the insole and flag complete the retro sneaker, which is available in US sizes 4 – 12.
The sneakers are on sale at BILLY’S web store for ¥9,504 YEN (approximately $85 USD). Meanwhile, Vans just reintroduced the Full Cab silhouette to Western audiences.
