Kyrie Irving Self-Directs His "Find Your Groove" Nike Ad
For the all-new Kyrie 4.
For much of 2017, Kyrie Irving didn’t need help making headlines with statements like ”the world is flat” and “Christmas is not a holiday.” And so, to ring in 2018, the Swoosh brand let the Celtics star produce his own ad promoting the Kyrie 4 runner.
In the feature, Irving displays his rapid playing style — an ode to the sneaker’s pitch as a ultra-flexible, responsive shoe. Of course, the video wouldn’t be complete without one Earth joke. In fitting manner, the baller notes “This is my world,” then spins a metal cutout of a flat Earth.
