When Balenciaga introduced its Triple S, the sneakers were not for everyone, especially when it was a huge departure from the streamlined Speed Trainer. A custom iteration now mixes both.
As previewed by @hypemuseum, the hybrid high top utilizes the highly controversial Triple S chunky sole with the Speed Trainer’s fully knit upper. The knit arrives in red to match the details of the heralded triple sole.
Execution-wise, the customization is simple but does solve a few of the criticisms garnered of the Triple S; the silhouette receives a sleeker aesthetic, and goes far in simplifying the overall look.
