Lifestyle brand Yeenjoy Studio never actually made it into colette’s strict distribution, but the designer decided to take matters into its own hands.

Founder K. YEE chronicles his daring tactic to get promoted by the Parisian retailer in the summer of 2017. While Yeenjoy Studios was not officially sold in the retailer at the time, the Chinese designer placed his Terracotta Warrior Stormtrooper Incense Burner into the front display at colette. K. YEE continues to explain the difficulty of getting considered and sold at the retailer, as the items stocked are highly curated. And while he never actually got the chance to see his products hit the checkout lines of the now-closed boutique, he exclaims his gratitude and appreciation for the support he has received.

Check out the video above and visit HBX to officially shop Yeenjoy Studio products.
