Kyrie Irving Doesn't "Think of Christmas as a Holiday," Causes Twitter Backlash
Another troll?
Kyrie Irving is back with what seems to be another troll. Having spent most of 2017 stating the Earth is flat then going back on his word twice on the theory, Irving is once again confusing and captivating NBA fans with his recent comment after the Celtics‘ 102-93 loss to the Knicks on Thursday: He doesn’t think of Christmas as a holiday.
In the post-game interview, Irving stated:
“The hoopla on Christmas, I don’t really get into that. I don’t necessarily think of Christmas as a holiday. Looking forward to playing in front of the fans on the 25th and playing against a high-level Washington team and going against great guys.”
Of course with this sort of comment, it’s bound to cause some backlash on social media. Check out some NBA fan reactions below. Kyrie and the Celtics will take on the Washington Wizards on December 25. In case you’ve missed it, check out our exclusive interview with Kyrie Irving while he was in Tokyo.
