Instagram Now Lets You DM Live Videos

With individual accounts now able to follow hashtags in their feeds, Instagram is also letting users send live videos as direct messages. Whenever you decide to start broadcasting, you can now just alert any of your friends through a DM, ensuring they are able to view your video instantly. Courtesy of this latest update, viewers who find particular streams interesting and entertaining can also send them through Instagram’s messaging system. While this will not work for previously-streamed videos, individuals will be able to take advantage of this function for all live videos.
Available now for Android and iOS users, the latest Instagram update can be accessed and used by just logging on the app via smartphone. Continuing to add to its messaging network, Instagram is also testing out a standalone direct-messaging app fittingly-titled “Direct.”
