PUMA Releases "Canadian Money" Clyde Pack
Make it rain.
For Canada’s 150th birthday, PUMA is dropping a trio of Clyde sneakers inspired by Canadian currency, specifically, the $20, $50 and $100 CAD dollar bills.
Each model boasts a tonal nubuck suede upper in the colors of Canadian banknotes with the denomination embossed on the lateral heel and laces. Iridescent detailing falls on the heel tab, tongue tab and PUMA Clyde insignia on the side to channel the opalescent maple leaf that legitimizes the Canadian dollar bills, while a gum sole brings to mind the rubber bands that wrap around stacks.
Each Clyde sneaker from the “Canadian Money” pack retails for $130 CAD (about $100 USD) and is available at select PUMA retailers such as PUMA Lab and Footaction.
For more special edition sneakers, Nike officially revealed plans for its Air Max 97 “Country Camo” pack.
