Swedish menswear brand PRLE debuted in Spring/Summer 2016, with an eye for simple, casual clothing. For Spring/Summer 2018, the brand is gearing up with a bevy of goods informed by the excesses of the ’70s.

Inspired by Tony Olsen in Dazed & Confused, the line features an emphasis on retro detailing, including camp collar shirts, flared denim, oversized lapels, track gear and soft textiles — like velvet and suede. Taking cues from Olsen’s laid-back, humble personality, the line focuses on a muted, earthy color palette and blends fitted clothing with comfortable materials. PRLE looks to upset gender norms with lace zippers, ribbons and thigh-high socks, harkening back to the time of free love and unbridled sexuality.

Arriving in stores in January 2018, look to the brand’s website for more information. Meanwhile, fellow Swedes Acne Studios have readied a set of scarves for Fall/Winter 2017.
