Nike Releases Statement Addressing SNKRS Technical Problems
“The Ten” caused “an unprecedented level of demand.”

Having scrapped the online draw due to overwhelming demand, Nike announced that Off-White™‘s “The Ten” collaboration would release via the SNKRS app. The release schedule for the app featured silhouettes dropping over a two-hour course of the afternoon, beginning with the Air Prestos and finishing with the Air Jordan 1s.
Unfortunately for Nike — and anyone hoping to pick up a pair through the app — SNKRS was unable to handle the traffic, with users reporting errors and crashes after the sneakers went live. Nike has now addressed the issue in a statement, which attributes the problem to “an unprecedented level of demand.” You can read the full statement, as reported by The Wall Street Journal‘s Sara Germano, below.
If you want more from “The Ten,” take a look at an unreleased all-white Air Jordan 1 colorway.
