maharishi's Reversible Hokkaido Jacket Turns Silk Into a Military Fabric
A modern take on traditional embroidered jackets.
With its frosty Fall/Winter 2017 lookbook having dropped back in early October, maharishi has followed up with the release of its latest product — the reversible Hokkaido jacket. The London-based company add their own spin to the classic flight jacket, using silk and Japanese nylon twill for a luxury feel, while the name derives from the Geisha embroidery on the back. On the flip side, the reversible jacket can also also be worn as a more low-key piece, emblazoned with its signature MILTYPE branding placed just above the hem.
The maharishi reversible Hokkaido jacket costs £840 (approximately $1,109 USD) and is available now from the brand’s web store. maharishi most recently brought themselves to our attention taking center stage in HBX’s latest editorial.
