Summary

WE11DONE's Fall/Winter 2026 collection "Quantum Attachment" draws on romantic entanglement in film to shape a wardrobe built from layered, hybrid construction

Wash treatments and faded neutral tones give the pieces a collected, memory-worn character across outerwear and sweatsuits

Layered detailing, from tie-able sleeves to overlapped silhouettes, translates the idea of connection into the garments themselves

WE11DONE has unveiled “Quantum Attachment,” a Fall/Winter 2026 collection that reads romantic entanglement through the lens of cinema and builds it into the clothes. The Seoul label frames the season around states of closeness that persist across separation and time, then renders that tension as a physical contrast between structured tailoring and soft, worn materials.

The concept has a specific set of references. WE11DONE cites the quiet yearning of Wong Kar-wai‘s In the Mood for Love, the melancholic devotion of Jim Jarmusch‘s Only Lovers Left Alive, and the volatile energy of Todd Haynes’ Velvet Goldmine as touchpoints for relationships defined by restraint and unresolved desire. Rather than illustrate those films, the collection translates their emotional register into texture and construction.

That translation is clearest in how the garments layer. Everyday pieces, including sweatshirts, quarter-zips, and oversized knit belts, are stacked repeatedly to accumulate a sense of tension and to generate new shapes from familiar parts. Hoodies merge with utility vests and anoraks, while a one-shoulder top overlaps with a long-sleeve piece to form a single hybrid structure. A maxi skirt gains tuck detailing that mimics a t-shirt knotted at the waist, and a check flannel shirt dress is fitted with extra sleeves designed to be tied at the shoulder or waist, a gesture the brand reads as a metaphor for the bonds that hold a relationship together.

The finishes carry the same worn, collected feeling. Outerwear is treated with sand washing and brushed bleaching for a vintage air, and the sweatsuits echo it through trompe l’oeil prints and a dirty-wash process. A patchwork t-shirt and basketball shorts series deliberately clashes materials, colors, and prints, landing on an intentionally imperfect balance, while exaggerated glam-rock cues appear in hood designs drawn from fur trims and big hair. Color arrives in layers rather than flat planes, with faded neutral tones building what the brand describes as a palimpsest, a surface where memory accumulates. Accessories close the loop, as leather frame bags finished with antique gold-tone hardware and coin purses styled like necklaces underline the fragile nostalgia running through the season.
