Ducati Unveils New Flagship Supersport Bike, the Panigale V4
Three versions are currently available for purchase.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has announced its official replacement of the iconic 1299 superbike, the all-new Panigale V4. The supersport vehicle is powered by a 4-cylinder engine with a 90° V cylinder layout, a first for the brand. Three versions are available for purchase, the vanilla Panigale V4, the Panigale V4 S and the Panigale V4 Speciale.
The original and the S version both produce 214 horsepower at 13,000 rpm, as well as 91.5 lb of torque at 10,000 rpm, with the S version weighing in 2.2 lbs less than the original. The latter also comes with a refined suspension from Swedish developer Ohlins, with Smart EC 2.0 and parts like the aluminum produced wheels and a lithium-ion battery. Lastly, the Panigale V4 Speciale is the lightest of the three weighing in at 381 lbs while putting down 226 horsepower. It also sports a titanium exhaust system and an Ultrasuede seat.
