Acne Studios Drops Roller Skates in Typically Off-Piste Release

Acne Studios is dropping its latest off-kilter item, this time coming in the form of sneaker roller skates. The Jimmy roller uses the sneaker as a base, adding a set of fully-working skates to the sole to create something entirely different. The custom-made shoe is a limited edition version — coming in two main sneaker colorways — with each sneaker getting two sets of wheels, one a translucent material and the other with colored yellow or black wheels.
The Acne Studios Jimmy derby roller skate comes in at £600 (approximately $785 USD) and is available now from the Acne Studios web store. Unique as they are, the skates are also part of the Diner capsule collection which released yesterday.
