DRAM Connects With Rick Rubin for New Single, "Check Ya Fabrics"
Two legends.
After scooping up the first ever ‘Legendary Genius Award‘ from Spotify‘s Secret Genius Awards ceremony this past week, renowned producer Rick Rubin is back in the mix with a new tune with DRAM – the singer/rapper who was one of the seven artists Rubin declared as his favorite new musicians during an interview with FADER alongside Chance The Rapper, Goldlink, Justin Bieber, Kaytrana, The Skins and Kali Uchis.
Meanwhile, the track finds DRAM getting into some amazing psychedelic R&B grooves provided by Rubin while approaching the song with catchy hooks and bars laced with pitched-up vocals. Much like his recent Trippie Redd cut, it’s raunchy but very classy at the same time. Listen in above.
