Having produced a book about the UK’s punk scene earlier this year, Tokyo-based design company and publisher mo’design has now announced its second project. For the latest release, mo’design is set to focus on Japanese label WTAPS and its 20-year history. The book — which has been in production for five years — is strictly limited to only 2,000 copies.
Titled WTAPS 01, the publication is set to feature over 300 products chosen from the brand’s archive, listed chronologically to show how the brand has evolved since it was founded in 1996. Each of the items comes with unique specifications and commentary, while the book also features an introduction by WTAPS founder Tetsu Nishiyama.
WTAPS 01 is set to release on November 25, with the 360-page book retailing at ¥15,000. For more WTAPS, check out the brand’s Fall collection which dropped recently.
