WACKO MARIA Unleashes Another Round of Fall/Winter Staples
Including provocative imagery and descriptive taglines.

Japanese label WACKO MARIA has revealed another chapter to its growing Fall/Winter 2017 collection by dropping another round of statement staples. Part provocative and part nostalgic, designer Atsuhiko Mori applies a series of graphic imagery, descriptive taglines and cultural texts onto a slew of lightweight outerwear options, including a shearling-lined work jacket, field shirt and button-down tops, amongst others.
Imagery, much like in seasons past, addresses lighthearted military motifs and other related themes, as can be seen in the camo-printed souvenir-style jacket and promiscuous pin-up girl illustration. The collection is now up for grabs via the brand’s online shop.
