Vans has teamed up with legendary skateboard imprint Santa Cruz and acclaimed Japanese artist Taka Hayashi on a limited edition pack of ProClassic silhouettes. The special footwear range is comprised of the Old Skool Pro ArcAd and Chukka Pro ArcAd in premium suede and leather renditions. Each model features artwork by Hayashi alongside Santa Cruz’s ubiquitous logo and slogan: ”Skateboarding Is Not A Crime.”
“Santa Cruz’s endless archive of awesome skateboard graphics, logos, and fonts that defined the 80’s skateboarding scene left a huge impact on me as an artist and a skater. I really looked up to their style and artists like Jim Phillips, whose signature artwork continues to inspire me to this day,” Hayashi stated.
