Red Bull Hits Berlin for 'Stranger Things'-Inspired BMX Video
Bruno Hoffmann heads to Berlin to save Anthony Perrin.
Stranger Things is back and, naturally, the homages to the Duffer Brothers’ beloved Netflix series are in full swing, whether it be hotel room at the Gregory, a Snapchat augmented reality feature, or even a pair of Reeboks. The latest nod to the likes of Eleven and the Upside Down? A spooky BMX video from Red Bull.
Set at a Cold War-era communications interception station in Berlin known as the Teufelsberg, the four-and-half-minute piece sees Bruno Hoffman called to the German capital by mysterious voices to save rider Anthony Perrin, who’s trapped in a parallel universe. Naturally, Hoffman clears multiple levels of the Teufelsberg on his quest, using his skills to bring Perrin back to the other side.
Check it out above and, for more Stranger Things goodness, be sure to give Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein’s season 2 soundtrack a spin.
