gravis Produces a Moody Lookbook for Fall/Winter 2017 Collection
The Kona receives three distinct colorways.
gravis footwear unveils a new lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2017 selection. Formed in 1998, gravis’s nearly twenty-year history has resulted in a slew of striking footwear designs, including the focus of this lookbook, the Kona.
Maintaining a moody atmosphere, the photos highlight the retro runner’s retooled colorways. A tonal navy is seen with a white midsole and black sole; a minimalistic, mostly-white variation offers hits of off-white; the third model juxtaposes a dark upper with fluorescent yellow. All of the Kona colorways feature gravis’ celebrated C9 insole, EVA midsole, and reflective 3M details.
Look for the new iterations to arrive at gravis stockists in time for winter. gravis’s popularity in Japan has lead to a recent string of collaborations from domestic brands — a Kona rework by SOPHNET. and updates to the Claymore and Rival, both by BILLY’S.
