There's a Professional Snowball Fighting League and It's Awesome

If you grew up somewhere with snow, you probably have fond memories of snowball fights with your parents, siblings or friends. A group of people have decided to take those memories and turn it into a professional snowball fighting league. Dubbed Yukigassen, the Japanese phrase translates to “snow war” and the game is played with 2.5-inch machine-made snowballs. Currently, there are eight teams of three players who partake in regular scrimmages and matches. Teams are allotted 90 snowballs per round with the objective of capturing the other team’s flag or eliminating all of its players.
