And it’s soundtracked by one of Radiohead’s creepiest songs.
A&E’s award-winning Psycho prequel, Bates Motel, is about enter its final season, and a new, star-powered trailer in support of the series’ new episodes has surfaced to bolster anticipation for the program’s concluding chapters. Alluding to the most famous scene depicted in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic, Rihanna teases her portrayal of Marion Crane — the victim of Norman Bates’s notorious on-screen shower rampage — with an appearance in the trailer that hints at Bates’s fatal descent into madness. Intensifying the even darker, more sinister twists and turns to come in the last batch of episodes, the creators of the A&E program have also used Radiohead’s foreboding “Exit Music (For a Film)” to soundtrack today’s vignette.
