In support of the recently released movie Hidden Figures, which has been nominated for a Golden Globe and features music by Pharrell, the singer appeared on the Ellen talkshow bringing with him messages of positivity. With conversation referencing the forthcoming Trump presidency, an increase in divisiveness worldwide, and the controversy surrounding singer Kim Burrell’s recent homophobic outburst — which had seen her invitation to perform alongside Pharrell on the show rescinded — Pharrell urged us all instead to ”live and let live; love and let love.”
