This past December, Amsterdam streetwear imprint Patta ushered its fourth collaborative installment of limited edition T-shirts with renowned Dutch photographer, Dana Lixenberg. The pair has now unveiled its final series which pays an homage to famed west coast rapper Too $hort and legendary poet/musician Gilbert “Gil” Scott-Heron. The all-black tees are embellished with a throwback portrait of TS which Lixenberg shot at his mansion in Atlanta, Georgia alongside a vintage snap of GSH which was taken during a live showcase for his Red, Hot & Cool album back in 1994.
All in all, the longstanding collaboration curated by Patta, boasts a total of ten t-shirts that portray acclaimed personalities such as The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Noam Chomsky, A Tribe Called Quest, PJ Harvey, Master P, Aaliyah as well as Allen Ginsberg.
Take a look at the newest set above and head over to Patta’s flagships as well as web store this January 20 to purchase both tees.
